Globalisation is creating new challenges for the domestic economy, especially as a result of global employment markets. Therefore, from an economic point of view, it is essential that Germany achieve the transition from an industrial society to one of innovation and knowledge, and drives forward innovation by interlinking the economy with research and educational institutions.
In order to achieve this, the twelve Competence Centres of Munich University of Applied Sciences develop applications and conduct research in close collaboration with the industry and offer counselling in matters relating to new technologies. Research groups are formed in the areas of Engineering, Economics and Social Sciences for this purpose. In addition, we offer staff training to companies to promote lifelong learning.
